Best dining experience in a couple of years

Our meal at Cafe Fiore was spectacular, but the service amibiance and restaurant architecture made the expeience stand out. With only 7 tables you feel as though you are eating in someone's living room and we ended up meeting other patrons which added to the experience.The dessert of white chocolate ice cream and strawberries met the rave review expectations, the soup, entrees, and appetizeres were all quite perfect, and the wine list was exceptional, both in its quality and in the low markup. We seriously considered a second trip from Davis to Tahoe just to eat here. We had to wait until 9:30 to get in, but it was more than worth it.
